Heading out of Perth, the lush green wine region of the Swan Valley will take us to the untouched bush & wetlands of the Chittering Valley, in the northern hills of the Darling Range.

Our first stop is the Abbey of New Norcia. Established in 1847, New Norcia is the only monastic town in Australia, take a moment to appreciate and discover the history behind the Spanish architecture style monastery. The seasonal wildflowers, fresh local produce and beautiful countryside will make this journey a day to remember, and perhaps a place to revisit!

The town offers an abundance of historical old buildings to test your architectural photographic creativity. Also, monks can be seen time-to-time walking outside the monastery, please respect their privacy.
